Worked based in near Tower Hill, London E1 on projects for clients all over the United Kingdom. Also worked on first project for an Australian client in 2005. Started to expand the range of services into Internet Marketing from pure web development.
Continued to work on client projects and studied a full time at Cass Business School to attain an Master of Business Administration (MBA).
Founded Matter Solutions business and began working on a variety of projects including three hugely successful websites for a City stockbroking firm.
Worked at Merrill Lynch Capital Services on Credit Derivative trade processing and soon became the team supervisor. I was also assigned various intranet management tasks which included learning HTML.
I found that I could communicate easily between managers and the technical staff meaning more efficient solutions and therefore much better results. I quickly learned to program in Perl and PHP and was responsible for automating a huge number of repetitive reporting tasks.
I saved so much time that my team of five could manage more work with less people.
Graduated as Master of Engineering (MEng) in Aeronautical Engineering from The City University in London. I’d begun programming visual basic macros using Microsoft Excel.
I remember being shown by my Dad how to write very simple procedural computer programs in BASIC on our BBC computer at the age of about 8.
