Redcliffe Website Designer Job – We want you!
Matter Solutions is currently looking for a skilled website designer to join the team. We’re looking for someone part-time right now but if you’re available full-time please let us know.

Established in London over 10 years ago Matter Solutions is a website design and internet marketing company now based north of Brisbane, in Margate on the Redcliffe Peninsula.
We work with clients both in the UK and Australia and the company is steadily expanding due to our reputation for high quality work and an exceptional ability to deliver high levels of customer satisfaction.
Seven things about You
To be considered you must possess the following skills and attributes…
- Great at communication, you love to talk with clients to find out what they want
- Creative designer, able to deliver awesome visual designs from any brief but still remain consistent with the principles of good website usability
- As an experienced website designer you’re able to master any HTML and CSS issues and have good knowledge of JavaScript
- Flair for project management, comfortable using project management software and working with clients and colleagues in remote locations
- A commercial mindset with a “can do” attitude
- You love the web. We want someone that shares a passion for websites and delivering online success for clients
- X factor. We’re looking for that magical mix of someone who is full of ideas but can also get things done – tell us about yourself
Other desired skills
This is a list of skills we value and would help your application greatly, they’re (roughly) in order of importance for these roles.
- PHP/MySQL coding experience
- Experience with the content management systems WordPress and Drupal
- Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) awareness – and eagerness to learn
- Project Management – Work with our website builders to implement your designs. Giving excellent instructions and taking ownership of your projects.
- Configuration and design of Magento Commerce websites
- Print design experience – We’re asked for Professional Business Cards, Logo Design and other Graphic Design for clients in Redcliffe, Brisbane and beyond
- Search Engine Marketing skills or experience, e.g. Google AdWords
- Ruby on Rails coding experience

Salary is negotiable based on experience
Part time – Website Design Job
Hours and rates are open for discussion and can be flexible (would suit full-time mother). We anticipate need for around 10-15 hours per week.
